Bruce Meade of Bradenton, FL was inducted into the Male Player Category in 2003 in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

Standing 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 260 pounds with a handlebar mustache, Meade is probably the most recognized slow pitch player of his generation.

In an illustrious career dating back to 1974 he has appeared in 9 ISA Super Major World Tournaments and 3 Senior World Tournaments. Over the years he has played with Elite Coatings of Gordon, GA; Steele's Sports of Grafton, OH; Smythe Sox of Houston, TX; Ken Michaels of Maryland; Ritch's/Kirk's of North Carolina; Starpath of Kentucky; Vernorn's of Jacksonville, FL, and Florida Crush in the seniors program.

Meade's teams won the Super World in 1986 (Smythe Sox) and finished second five times. His Florida Crush team has won 3 ISA Senior World titles. He has been named to the All-World Tournament Team 7 times.

Bruce also participates in the Florida Half Century events which aligned with ISA in 2001 and won the state championship with Hardisty Electric in 2002.
