Dirk Androff was inducted in the player catagory in 2001, in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. The late Dirk Androff of Naples, FL was recognized as one of the games true superstars at the time of his premature death at the age of 35 in October, 1997.
Androff, a 6'7, 290lb. giant played on six straight ISA World Series Championship teams from 1990 through 1995. In 1989 and 1990 while performing for Steeles's Sports he led the series in home runs.
In 1989 and 1992, with Ritch's Superior/TPS, he posted the highest batting averages in the Series with an .823 batting average in '89 and .704 batting average in '92. Ritch's-Superior/TPS won the ISA World Series from 1991-1995. Dirk appeared in 7 straight finals, finishing second with Steele's in 1989, and was named to six Series All Tournament Teams
